In Stone Profits, Opportunities are created to house all interactions leading to one customer's purchase. An opportunity in SPS could be considered synonymous with the term "Sales Lead."
The add Opportunity should be used when you have a lead that did not start with a showroom visit. The add Visit also creates an opportunity and should be used when helping a customer in the showroom.
Encompassed under one opportunity, there may be multiple showroom visits, quotes, or holds. Looking into prior opportunities with a customer can give you a better idea of your company's history with them and potentially also give you a quick glance at the products they may have been interested in buying.

1.) On the Pre-Sales Home page, click the plus sign inside the "Opportunities" box.
2.) Enter the customer header information for the customer you are dealing with. The "Add New" link in the "Bill To" section allows for creation of a new customer account.
The Customer Name is typically listed on the "Bill To" side and the referred Homeowner's info is entered in the "Ship To" section in the middle of this page.
Location - The branch getting credit for the sale
Division - Will default to 65-Sales. Do not edit this field

Project Type:
The Project Type field in Stone Profits is what we know in P21 as SMG - Sales Market Group. This field will fill in based on the default in the customer’s account, and can be edited if needed. The categories for you to choose from are:

Project Type:
The Project Type field in Stone Profits is what we know in P21 as SMG - Sales Market Group. This field will fill in based on the default in the customer’s account, and can be edited if needed. The categories for you to choose from are:
- Dealer (to be used for an authorized WZ CMP dealer)
- Commercial (any commercial sale not dealer)
- Residential (any residential sale not dealer)
- E-Commerce –(only to be used for website sales)
- Intercompany- (Mosaics companies; currently Opustone and Surfaces Southeast)
Stage:
- This allows a sales rep to update and specify a status of an a opportunity, which determines the success probability of closing the sale.

By clicking Add New Opportunity button at bottom right, the system will save the information and create the opportunity.
OPPORTUNITY DETAIL PAGE
On an opportunity detail page you can see all pre-sales events relative to the opportunity. Notice in the example below there is 2 Visits, 1 Quote tied to this Opportunity.
You have the option to add a Visit, Quote, or Hold to an opportunity from its detail page. If you would like to add specific item codes to your opportunity you must update with Visit. If the customer is ready to make a purchase, you can also click the button to add a Sales Order from the opportunity.
