When creating a new customer or by updating customer Set credit limit.
If a customer exceeds the limit the next transaction will not go through without additional approval.
Based on the Predefined Credit limit, When the limit is exceeded then will show the lock on Sale order Details Screen and will not let the sale continue until the customer is below the limit (If credit is resolved by accounting team), or an administrator overrides the lock.
Checking this Credit Limit at each step, from sale order to invoice.
Accounting team will have the access to check the number of orders which are in Credit Hold.
Sales >> On Credit Hold
Search for Order and Click on Release
Once "Release" is clicked, a pop-up is generated.
It shows Date and Released By Automatically and Notes should be filled by User and release the order.
Then the Sale allowed to complete.
After the user release's the Credit Hold.
