- To Be Transferred only helps you to transfer the Inventory which is allocated either to a Sales Order or a Hold.
- But a Transfer helps you to transfer the Inventory which is available from any Location and receive Inventory in any Location at any time.

What are Required (Highlighted in RED color) to create a transfer?
- Initiated Date: This is the Date you knew that a Inventory Transfer is needed and the System takes that day's date as default.
- Transfer From: This is a search box which helps you to select the Location from which the Inventory is transferred.
- Transfer To: This is a Search box which helps you to select the Location to which the Inventory is transferred.
Fields that are available to input additional information:
- Transfer #: This is generated by the System by default and can not the changed.
- Req. Ship Date: From Location needs to ship the Inventory to To Location at least by this date or before this date.
- ETA Date: A Date which tells the Arrival at To Location after Inventory is shipped.
- Delivery Method:
- Pickup: This is used when To Location comes and Picks up the Inventory at From Location.
- Delivery: This is used when From Location takes the Inventory to the To Location.
- Shipment Terms: The terms which tells how this shipment is made. For ex: By Water, By Road, Priority Overnight, etc..
- Freight Carrier: If a third party Vendor helps you in shipping the Inventory then this field helps you to put that info. For ex: ABF Freight System, Pilot Freight Services, etc..
- Pick Ticket Restriction: This option helps you to tell your warehouse team how the Inventory should be Picked.
- Exact Slab: This option only allows scanning the exact BarcodeID that was allocated to the Transfer Pick Ticket. If the BarcodeID is different while scanning then you can not pick the other Inventory.
- Within Product: When this option is selected, you can swap the allocated BarcodeID with any other BarcodeID if the allocated and to be swapped should have the same product name.
- Within Lot: This option will allow you to swap the allocated BarcodeID with any other BarcodeID which has the same Lot number.
- Printed Notes: This notes section will appear in Transfer Print and can be seen by the To Location.
- Internal Notes: This notes can not be seen by the To Location but From Location can view the notes.
How to Create a Transfer?
- Select the Location from which the Inventory is transferred.
- Select the Location to where the Inventory is transferred.
- Search for the Inventory that you want to transfer using filters and click on Search.
- Select the checkboxes of the Inventory Lines which needs to be transferred.
- Click on Add New Transfer to create the Transfer.
Print the Transfer Pick Ticket and give it to the Warehouse team.
Receive the transfer to complete the Transfer.
