Creating a journal entries
To create a new Journal in the SPS, go to Accounting >> General Ledger >> Journal Entries > (+)Icon as shown below.
After Clicking on (+)icon you'll be redirected to New Journal Entry Page, where you need to enter the required information and save the Journal.
A. Reference#: Enter a reference number for future references.
Transaction Date: Date of the Transaction you're creating. By default it takes the present day date.
B. Fill in the details; Select the account from the drop down, select the location, select the Division for which this Journal is being applied. Enter the description if any. Enter the amount in Debit or Credit depending on the nature of the Journal.
C. Account: Select the appropriate Account that needs to hit for the Transaction.
D. Add More Lines: Click on this button to add more lines to add more Journals.
E. Clear: Click this button to clear all the information and do over.
F: Save & View Journal Entry: Click on this Button to save the entered Journals.

After saving the Journal Entry, it will redirect you to Journal Entry View as shown below.
