To upload a document from your outlook into a Sales Order you will need to print a PDF. It’s recommended to first create a folder on your desktop to print to. This is a onetime set up process.
The first time you print to PDF, you should pin the folder to your Quick access bar. From the print PDF window, Click on Desktop under quick access, find the new folder and click on it to highlight, then right click on new folder, select Pin to Quick access. Name the file at the bottom and click open.
The next time you print to PDF, you will see your SPS doc link folder under the Quick access bar.
In order to upload files into SPS to any transaction, we need to open that particular transaction. In this case its Sale Order. Open any sale order that you want to upload related files to. Then click on "Files" as shown below.
When the window opens, click on SPS doc link folder on left side, then click on what document you want to link, which should fill in the file name field, then click open.
Upload Files window opens, select the file type, enter any notes, then click Save & Close.
After uploading the file, you should see your file in the "Files" tab, to be seen same as below.
